We all have different ways to unwind. Some people go for a run, some people meditate, some people work in their garden, and some people buy one of everything in the Little T bakery case and then eat it all in bed while watching Bridesmaids for the 43rd time. To each their own. But on April 29th, we can all unify in our method, at the Unwine’d, Celebrate Oregon Wine event. Because what’s more relaxing than a wine festival?
On Sunday, April 29, 100 (no really, 100!) wineries from A to Z Wineworks to Youngberg Hill, and 14 restaurants including Allium Bistro, Bluehour, The Joel Palmer House, Park Kitchen, Roots, Urban Farmer, and Xocolatl de Davíd (who is a man not a restaurant, but I’ll mention him prominently nonetheless because he brings the chocolate) will convene at the Leftbank Annex to help you unwine’d (how kind of them!). There will also be wine education stations to help you hone your palate, and a wine store, because after making your way through 100 wine tastings, you’ll likely be in the mood to throw open your wallet and make a few additions to your private cellar.
Tickets are $50 each, and can be found here. Unwine’d also generously donated two tickets for a lucky Under The Table reader to win, just go to the UTT Facebook page and tell everyone which participating Unwine’d winery you would make a beeline for first (see the entire list here) if you win!
