This is probably old news to most of you, I accidentally let both of these press releases age in my inbox for a few days, but they caught my eye this morning while I was trolling for job offer emails from French champagne houses in need of tasters, so I will post them now, old news or not.
First up, Foster Burger.

I’m very happy to announce that Grüner, my new restaurant, will open the 28th of December.
Our alpine inspired menu will feature the seasonal cuisines of Italy, Germany, Austria, France,
Switzerland and Central Europe. Located on the corner of SW 12th & Alder in downtown
Portland’s West End district, our intimate dining room seats approximately 35 people
and our cozy bar about 12. In addition we have a large family style table that can seat groups up to 10.
Between Thanksgiving and Christmas, we’re hosting a series of dinners, inviting friends, colleagues
and food lovers to preview our culinary offerings before we officially open to the public.
The dinners will feature a 6-course menu. Each night’s menu will be different but equally exciting.
The cost is $100 per person, which includes wine or beer pairings with each course, an open bar and gratuity.
