Like me, you probably have food dreams yet unfulfilled. Cooking school in Montalcino, dinner at elBulli, centipede skewers at Beijing’s Dong Hua Men Night Market, a steamy snog session with Jamie Oliver, I could go on and on. Perhaps your yet-to-be-realized food dreams include a year’s worth of Portland Farmer’s Market shopping sprees (yes, please!), or making dinner with famous Portland chef…Cathy Whims of Nostrana, or dinner and luxurious 1-night stay at the Nines Hotel, or a canning party, or dinner at Lincoln restaurant, or an official PFM tote bag (I have one, it’s very nice). If so, I sincerely hope you have bought your raffle ticket(s) for PFM’s 2009 PRIZE DRAWING.
For a mere $10, you will not only support our beloved nonprofit Portland Farmer’s Market, but you will buy yourself a little something priceless: hope. Hope that you and Cathy Whims can make dinner together, hope that you can get up every Saturday morning of the 2010 PFM season to an expenses paid ($50 worth) trip to the market, hope that you, yes you, could host your own canning party for 10 at the Eastbank Market.
So click this link between Oct. 17-Oct. 31, buy a raffle ticket or maybe 10, help PFM out, and make your dreams come true. It’s that easy.
