Clearly thinking outside the ‘ol pink bakery box of yore when gilding his massive from-scratch brioche doughnut lilies, founder Micah Camden’s glazes include blueberry bourbon basil and horchata. Fillings feature Meyer lemon curd, Swiss chocolate mousse, Cointreau cream and the gut-busting doughnut ring to rule them, a masterpiece buried in chunks of homemade fried chicken and honey butter.
