Portland’s East Side is a food lover’s haven, but isn’t always a dolled-up damsel’s first thought when pondering how best to paint the town San Marzano red. The Buckman neighborhood’s Nostrana is an excellent choice for a group of hungry hotties, however, with some seriously sexy cocktails like the Green Smoke (Tanqueray, Green Chartreuse, lime, smoked salt rim) and the Joy Ride (Stoli Citros, Campari, lemon & lime) , a pretty L-shaped bar that could easily claim your attention long into the evening, and good upscale Italian fare. I’d recommend wearing your little red dress, because even a glamourpuss is expected to cut their own pizza at Nostrana and sauce splatters can be murder on a pastel pink mini.
