7th Annual Local Hero Awards at Ecotrust

7TH ANNUAL LOCAL HERO AWARDS and Summer’s First Barbecue

Edible Portland and Ecotrust are throwing summer’s first barbecue — with a keynote by Nell Newman of Newman’s Own Organics — to honor outstanding members of our local food community. After Nell speaks and announces the Local Hero Awards, we’re throwing all three floors of Ecotrust open to renowned local chefs, who are putting their culinary brilliance toward preparing the best barbecue, sourced directly from our region’s most sustainable producers. All proceeds support Ecotrust’s work to build a resilient regional food system.

Nell Newman of Newman’s Own Organics will give the keynote.
