Planned Parenthood’s Courageous Voice Breakfast

2012 Courageous Voice Breakfast with Valerie Plame Wilson
Portland Art Museum’s Kridel Grand Ballroom

ppbreakfastJoin us for a special breakfast event with a woman who, as a covert CIA Operations Officer, worked to protect America’s national security and prevent the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. Now a bestselling author, Valerie Plame Wilson found herself at the heart of a political firestorm in 2003 when the Bush administration revealed her secret status to a conservative columnist who published her name. She will discuss her autobiography, Fair Game: My Life as a Spy, My Betrayal by the White House, sharing her thoughts on this unprecedented abuse of public trust in an effort to subvert the right of free speech.
