It’s Summer Solstice next week! That means the start of shorter days… already! In celebration (and preparation) we are living up the longest day of the year with a feast inspired by Alice Waters’ love-affair with Garlic, the “spice of life” as she says. A revolutionary chef who has from the start been dedicated to using organic ingredients, Chef Waters is an inspiration to us and many other restaurants who value locally-grown and organic produce. Not only is it delicious, garlic has many, many health benefits.

Next week we’re inspired by Alice Waters and will be serving Garlic in every course. That’s right. Even dessert! Garlic with Baby Artichokes, Garlic Vinaigrette, Garlic Scape Pesto, Broiled Tomatoes with Garlic, and Garlic-Olive Oil “Ice Cream”! Dare to celebrate with us next week two things: the Sun’s highest position in the sky and everything Garlic.
