Forest Grove, OR (April 3, 2012) — Montinore Estate and EaT: An Oyster Bar are bringing a little Cajun flavor to Oregon’s wine country this month to honor the release of Montinore’s 2011 Rosé, Müller Thurgau and Gewürztraminer.

On April 21 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., EaT owners Ethan Powell and Tobias Hogan will boil up big ol’ batches of crawfish and shrimp at Montinore Estate’s scenic property in Forest Grove, Oregon.

“There’s no better way to celebrate spring than with good crawfish boil,” says Rudy Marchesi, owner of Montinore Estate, “except when it’s accompanied by great friends and a glass of our 2011 Gewürztraminer.”

Since there’s always room for dessert, resident pastry chef Jillian Mackey will serve her tasty bread pudding while The New Iberians Blues and Zydeco Band serenade guests from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The whole Montinore Estate team will be at the event, including the mastermind behind the new releases, winemaker Stephen Webber. Tickets are $45 per person or $35 for wine club members.
