Irving St. Kitchen Wine Keg Tapping Party

Irving St. Kitchen Hosts “Tapping Parties” To Celebrate Exclusive Barrel-to-Bar Wine Releases All Summer Long

Portland, OR (June 15, 2012) – Irving St. Kitchen is celebrating its summer line up of
exclusive Barrel-to-Bar wine releases by hosting “Tapping Parties,” complete with
featured winemakers, wine-loving friends and delicious Happy Hour food pairings.
Many of the wines are proprietary cuvées, and all featured winemakers bring a fresh
approach to their craft.

“Over the last two years, we have developed amazing relationships with winemakers
across the state and are excited to offer a summer line up that includes many small
production premium wines on tap all summer long,” says Ryan Dixon, Irving St.
Kitchen’s General Manager. “We want people to cheers with us, and the featured
winemakers, the moment these special wines come to the bar each month,” adds Dixon.

Each “Tapping Party” takes place during an extended Happy Hour hosted throughout
Irving St. Kitchen’s bar, from 5:30 PM – 7 PM on the last Tuesday of each month. Chef
Sarah Schafer is designing HH special menus to pair with each release, and ISK is
providing complimentary bites for early arriving guests.

Irving St. Kitchen’s first Tapping Party takes place on June 26 with Matt Berson of
Love & Squalor Wine, who will be showcasing his 2011 Riesling. Berson describes this
summer sipper as a “grown up lemonade.”

Future dates include: July 31, August 28 and September 25, 2012.
Each tapping will take place promptly at 5:30 PM in the restaurant’s bar area.
Follow ISK’s Facebook Page to stay in the know about upcoming visiting winemakers
and special releases, and don’t forget to mark your calendars in advance.
