Teutonic Invasion at Storyteller Wines

rosetastingschoneschlucht3 From the Storyteller Wines newsletter:

Join us this Friday, September 24th, for a blitzkrieg of great wines from Oregon and Germany. Our guests will be Olga and Barnaby Tuttle of the Teutonic Wine Company. Barnaby and Olga make very nice wines right here in the Willamette Valley under their Schone Schlucht label. But now they are also importing wines to Oregon from their inspirational homeland, Germany.

This Friday we will be pouring the new vintage of their highly acclaimed Schwarzriesling (Pinot Meunier) as well as their newly released Spatburgunder (an Oregon Pinot Noir made with Chehalem Mountain fruit) and their Schone Schlucht Riesling, which is made with southern Willamette Valley fruit. As a bonus, we will be pitting Barnaby and Olga’s Oregon wines against a Pinot Noir and a Riesling they import from Germany.

And if all of that were not enough, there will be appetizers from our good friends at Olympic Provisions. Amazingly, there will be no charge for this tasting.
